TXSAR (Tracked Small Obstacle Avoidance Robot). TXSAR is a mobile robotic platform to develop and test specific algorithms for navigation, vehicle locomotion, path planning, and obstacle avoidance in a laboratory environment.

A laptop can be used to control the platform and the algorithms can be resident in the laptop which provides tremendous flexibility to rapidly develop and test ideas, techniques and algorithms.
